The Homepage of the Racquetball Club at the University of Georgia. This club is open to all faculty, staff, and students of the University of Georgia. It is a highly social club, and a relatively competitive one.
The Bulldog Racquetball Club is the place to play!
...And not just for top-notch players. We foster a friendly, competitive atmosphere that welcomes everyone from the beginner to the advanced player. Want to learn the game? Come out and give us a try, even if you've never played before.
We're not just a racquetball club, either. We're also a social club; often hanging out after the games at local restaurants and at each other's homes.
Who Can Join?
The club is open to any student, faculty or staff member, and UGA employee with access to the Ramsey Center.
When We Play
We meet every Tuesday and Thursday night from 7 pm to 9 pm at the Ramsey Center on courts 1-3. After the games, we often head out to dinner.
We also play tournaments, local challenge courts, and mini-tournaments against other schools or clubs.
What You Need
1. Safety First! The racquetball club believes in safety above all and requires the use of approved eyewear while on the courts. Even modern medicine hasn't perfected eye replacement yet, and we consider this preventive medicine.
2. Racquets are available to check out at the Ramsey Center equipment checkout located near the courts. Or bring your own!
3. A Pair of Non-marking Athletic Shoes. Of course.
If you Like Us
Join us! If you try us out and enjoy the club, then we ask you to pay the annual membership fee. This lands you a racquetball club t-shirt, free racquetballs throughout the semester along with the three club reserved courts every Tuesday and Thursday.
Your fee also helps to offset the costs of tournaments and other competitive engagements.
